OUR VISION

Our services are as important as the other cadres crucial to the success of inclusion and
education (i.e., assistive technology, speech and occupational therapists, psychologists
and assistants). They are also in direct alignment with the priorities set up by the majority
of GCC countries in the past five years, which is to develop educational performance to
improve the inclusion process. Our solutions and future vision are to employ IT and data
management to support the teacher’s work environment and support innovations for better
foresight of the future.
SENHELP is in the process narrowing down and securing an agreement with a software
company whose goals are to provide a target-specific program assisting teachers with
data collection and differentiated instruction, as well as helping the families stay in the
loop with educational milestones, IEP input and behavior management techniques
practiced during the week in the classroom. It is designed as an aid for students with
moderate to severe disabilities. This program will be used in partnership with regular
education grade-level standards to measurably improve students’ academic, behavioral
and adaptive functioning.

Short-term goals and solutions are outlined on our home page, with the belief that plan adherence can grow our SEN population into more productive, self-regulating adults. If it takes a Village to raise a child, it takes a child with autism to raise the consciousness of the Village. Our goal is servicing exceptional students and their POD families, assisting teachers, SEN Coordinators and therapists (the components of the “Village”) with up-to-date resources, methods and technology (for ease of delivery). Our mission is to offer the best support with no judgment, sharing resources that are not just Spectrum friendly but necessary for well-rounded student development (access to movies with lower volumes, swimming pools, hippotherapy, sensory rooms and software options designed with this special population in mind). The hope is to have warehouse space housing our materials and tools available to reinforce and update supplies to teachers, coordinators and families (i.e. scheduling kits, education tools, sensory items, OT gadgets, weighted vests and blankets, comfort cushions), available to order or sent out as need presents.

Our long-term vision is a brick-and-mortar facility serving as a respite camp for these children and their families ~ to help educate, guide them into work training and house them individually (for parental/guardian breaks) or as a family. This would be a conducive, sensory safe haven for the student and provide an opportunity for their families (parents/guardians/siblings) to get hands-on assistance with educational, safety and behavioral strategies, thereby becoming better equipped to meet the needs of their loved one. Autism is not a condition, but a spectrum of conditions. SENHELP is not the only answer for resolution, but the best answer for services targeting solutions.

SENHELP looks forward to earning a well-deserved reputation in the UAE for quality education solutions that make a difference to the SEN community as a whole.  Our combined experience (90+years) of service to individuals and the SEN community , dedication to the success of this project and the empowerment of those who learn a different way on a different day is the heartbeat of this enterprise. We are committed to the movement. We are the change-makers
